National Nuclear Regulator (NNR): Communications and Stakeholder Relations Internships
As a socially responsible organisation, the NNR provides unemployed graduates opportunities to receive workplace exposure, practical job shadowing, further training and skills development. The NNR’s Communications and Stakeholder Relations department has an opportunity for dynamic internship in Communications and Stakeholder Relations.
Responsibilities:
- Writing media releases, newsletter articles and reports
- Monitoring and reporting for social media and website
- Internal and external stakeholders liaison and engagement
- Event management
- Branding
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- NQF Level 7 qualification in: Corporate Communications or Journalism
- No working experience, graduate in search of internship to gain experience
- Not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme
- Be a South African citizen
- Must be unemployed graduate under the age of 35
Skills and Competencies
- Good writing and verbal communication skills
- Planning and event coordination
- Self-time management
- Conduct research to develop content for articles
- Team player and good networker
- Able to work on multiple tasks at the same time and deliver on adhoc tasks when required
