Thabazimbi Local Municipality: Finance Internship Programme 2024 / 2025

Thabazimbi Local Municipality invites applications for five (05) Municipal Financial Management Internship Programme post that is available in the field of Municipal Finance. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.

The internship provides an opportunity for graduates to gain the necessary application skills as well as "hands on" work experience in all fields of Municipal Finances and Municipal Financial Administration.

Position Title: Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme

Reference Number: 016/05/2024

Duration: Twenty-four (24) Months Contract)

Salary: Between R9 000 - R10 000 per month. (All inclusive remuneration package).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma with majors in: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or Auditing, among others.
• The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35.

NB. The intern will sign both an employment contract and an internship agreement. The purpose of the agreement is to ensure commitment to the programme which require, amongst other, full participation in the educational and workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures of the municipality.
