Coca-Cola Beverages: In Service Trainee Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical)

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for an In-Service Engineering, at our various regions  Midrand  in CCBSA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager.  

The In-Service Trainee programme runs over a period of 12 months.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

To maintain (inspect and adjust) and repair equipment proactively as per maintenance targets in order to continually improve department efficiency, to optimize equipment availability and to minimize losses and risk.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science passed with 40% (NOT Mathematics Literacy)
• Two South African Languages passed with 40%
• Studying towards National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related qualification
• Completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
• Willing to complete In-Service/ Experiential Training in Industry
• Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme at another company or organization

Selection Criteria:

• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be Employment Equity candidate
• Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
• Must be between 18-35 years of age
• Candidate must have a letter from the institution requesting work place experience for in order for the candidate to complete their qualification.
