Massmart: Learnership for people with Disability 2024

Disability Inclusion and creating community equality are part of our key priorities as a business and we are excited to announce that we are offering a Learnership programme that will run for 12 months in various stores across South Africa for People Living with Disabilities.

The fixed term contract will provide all learners with workplace experience underpinned by a carefully designed training programme that allows one to gain valuable work experience and explore career paths within the Retail World.

Requirements:

To be eligible for the programme, the below minimum requirements apply:

• Candidate must be a South African Citizen by birth
• Completed Matric qualification
• Valid Doctors Certificate that confirms the nature of Disability
• Must be unemployed and have 0 - 1 Year working experience
• Must be 26 years old or younger
• Willing to work retail hours (weekends, busy trading periods such as Christmas, public holidays etc. )
• Not registered for the same program at the SETA before / not currently registered with any SETA for any program

• Time management,
• Interpersonal & communication skills
• and must have a passion for the retail environment.
